We said goodbye to Sopron and the beautiful Pannonia hotel, short 1 km stroll to the start of the EPW(European peace walk).
Beautiful start through the woods; then the day got hotter, hills got steeper and NO coffee!!!
Backed up a bit in Neckenmarkt to a pub/coffee shop, occupied with a few locals downing a few talles.
Lots of fields of grain, rapeseed and a few patches of POPPIES!
Eventually made it and we are totally … well you will get the message. Over another hill and there were the yurts for tonight. A couple of beers, big feed and bed zzzz
Almost forgot, we are following a red arrow this time.
One foot in front of the other...you are achieving what I can only dream about! Remember how buggered you were on the first couple of days on the Camino? The journey will get easier again x
