June 4 köszeg to Dozmat EPW 3

Another Saturday night, another wedding. This one was pretty interesting. Alerted to the fact( as we were having our dirty beers on the deck) by the 30+ motorcycles and a wedding car pulling into the car park. The owner of the Pensione let us know that the band for the entertainment is Hungary,s famous heavy metal band, Tankscapda..... Anyone heard of them???

Anyhoo, onto today.

Early start and headed into the center of Koseg, gorgeous little town that we didn't see yesterday because for some strange reason our EPW path skirted the perimeter and had staying in the burbs.

Most of the old jurisic castle walls are still intact and it is possible to see where the moat ran. Pretty impressive since 13 century 

Rest of the morning pre coffee, was spent under the cover of the forest. Gradual incline until we reach town of Cak and followed by Velum. No coffee in either of those tiny towns

Tough slog again in the heat of the day along some fields, that went on and on and on and on..

Accommodation tonight in a farm stay on a working horse farm.

Great food, great company
